The company was founded in 1998 by former Air Force Major Lloyd Keith with a mission to provide technology, information services and outstanding customer support to the Gary community. Since then Inner-City Computers has built an impressive record of meeting and exceeding customer expectations. Our reputation is being built on providing consistently solid service and support for the community. Using state of the art solutions, Inner-City Computers offers a full spectrum of integrated computer technology services to support clients' objectives for technology implementation. With our special interest in K-12 Education, Churches, Local Government, we develop, implement and support Technology Plans, Wide Area Networks and Internet/Intranet connectivity. Inner-City Computers & Consultants Inc. is Gary’s only computer retail and technology training center. Located in Gary, In, Inner-City Computers offers a variety of computer and technology services. In their state-of the-art computer labs they instruct using the latest technology available such as SmartBoards, Video Projectors, Video & Digital Cameras, DVD & VCR, along with networked computers with Internet access.
Our courses are provided in three training configurations to meet the varying needs of the community.
- The first configuration is 6 hour Introduction or Refresher courses.
- The second training configuration is for those interested in Industry approved Certification training specifically Microsoft Office Specialist Certification (MOS) training.
- Our third training configuration is designed for those who desire Industry approved Certification training but need to start with the basics. This configuration is called “Certified Computer Literacy Training Program.”
